The journey towards spiritual enlightenment usually requires a little more than just seeking and most of us don’t live on a mountain top. With life challenges and modern society’s immense distractions you need ways to re-center and reconnect with the Universal Oneness. One of my favorite spiritual life hacks is the Sacred Pilgrimage.
Thankfully, our ancient and wise ancestors could see into the future and knew there would be a time of great disconnection between us and the celestial realms. They knew we would need reminders and “self help” centers of the grandest kind. They set in stone the knowledge and frequencies you need and can be given to you in transmissions to this very day at these special sites. These ancient temples, circles, dolmens or mounds use the energetic forces of the universe to speak to us. Whether it be their orientation to water and electromagnetic fields of the earth, planetary or solar alignments, sacred geometry and architectural measurements or the crystal properties of the very stones they are constructed of; they were all built using the highest technology for our benefit.
All we have to do is show up with the correct energetic intention! Not as a tourist, but as a sacred pilgrim walking the spirit roads of our ancestors. If “your body is a temple” your Intention and Reverence becomes the key that unlocks the energetic information of these world heritage sites. Reverence and Intent, both electro magnetic impulses interact with the forces embedded in the site to create a fusion of two temples. It is a way for you to merge with the divine. Not your average vacation.
Once upon a time, these subtle energy secrets were guarded by esoteric societies and mystery schools. Handed down throughout the ages and taught only to the initiate. Now, as we head into the Great Awakening this information needs to be more readily available to anyone who wishes to take up the call, to step into the light and align in their heart to the true purpose of these sacred power places. They are a gift to us all…to humanity. They are asking us to transform from being a tourist to an initiate on the path of sacred pilgrimage and reemerge a little lighter.
Avebury, England
The enigmatic and neolithic stones of Avebury rise out of a tender green field. Their striking and large presence draw you in and ask you to place your hand.

Despite the distraction from sheep and tourists, emanating the same incoherent energy, you must try to focus and feel why you’ve come all this way— to know what knowledge these stones hold in their flecks of quartz from thousands of years ago.
The circle no longer intact or working like intended. The energetic symphony long since destroyed by Christian farmers and town folk having carried off many of the smaller stones for a multitude of reasons, some religious, others practical. Yet, some of the unmovable 13 foot monoliths remain very strong as made evident by the tourist who attempted to copy my hand placement without being grounded or proper intention and went crashing to the ground. Her friends rushing to pick her up and questioning what had happened, however could she have fallen on flat earth. I knew.
It was one of the powerful Cove stones at the original entrance. You need to approach with reverence. The first one I felt the energy deep in my first chakra. When I read it for images, I saw zig zags like mountain peaks going up and down.
The other one next to it, I saw spirals. Two very different images and energies at the entrance. I could not understand the meaning together with my mental mind. I asked my spirit guides instead.
Aah! Yessss!
My spirit guides responded:
The Zig Zag is signifying As Above so Below and the Spiral is As Within so Without.
Ancient Wisdom!!! But the Mysteries weren’t done there…
At the Northern most stone of the circle I saw something similar to fireworks symbols and felt drawn into the pineal gland, I believe this was the circle that marked the boundary of the beginning of the inner circle. Go with in and connect with the pineal gland…all the answers are there.
At the Southern outer entrance stone, I was overwhelmed by the womb energy of the one on the right. I felt as if my womb was full and I realized there is a very strong feminine energy at Avebury.
When I remarked about this to the woman working at the Crystal shop right in its center. (The awful and equally amazing thing about Avebury is they built a little town right in the middle of it.) She told me I was right, yes, most of the large stones left behind possess female energy, the male stones were smaller and were carried off long ago, possibly to even be the cornerstone of the very building we stood in. Originally, Avebury Stone Circle used to be in balance and had a unification of the male and feminine energy and now it reflects our current state in the modern world. Disconnected.
I pondered why the male stones would be smaller and intuitively assumed it is because the reproduction happens inside the woman: the embryonic division of cells, the energy of expansion forming the flower of life inside her, the feminine. She is the one that must hold all of creation, including the masculine. It was like the great Kahuna Makua said, in “The Bowl of Light” book, Women do not need initiation into the mysteries the way men do. Perhaps the womb itself is the portal and path of the initiated.
Of course, I could not resist purchasing some lemurian crystals while in the shop and pulling a card from a divination deck. Not surprising, I pulled a Cosmic Circles Card! Oh, I do love the magical mystery of it all!!
